What should be paid attention to when charging maintenance-free battery electric locomotives?
Before formally charging the maintenance-free battery electric locomotive, you should confirm whether the power connection is normal, confirm whether the model of the battery and the charger match, whether the charging method meets the standards and requirements, and record some corresponding parameters.
When charging, you should always observe whether there is any problem with the charger and the battery, and if there is any problem, stop charging immediately. For example, whether the parameters on the display board are abnormal, whether the plate is overheated, whether the electrolyte is overflowing, etc. In addition to observation, the temperature of the electrolyte should also be measured, and the number of batteries measured should not be less than 3. When the temperature exceeds 45°C, the charging current should be reduced or even stopped, and the charging should be continued after the temperature cools down. After charging, wait for the battery to cool before cleaning the battery and closing the cock.
