Top Working principle and daily maintenance requirements of Mine electric locomotive

The mine electric locomotive consists of a mechanical part and an electrical part. The mechanical part includes: frame, wheel set, bearing box, spring bracket, braking device, sanding device, connecting buffer device, etc. The electrical part includes: DC series motor, controller, resistance box, pantograph, air automatic switch (over-line electric locomotive) or explosion-proof plug, battery (battery electric locomotive). Working process of mine electric locomotive:
1. The working process of overhead line electric locomotive. After the high voltage alternating current is reduced and rectified by the traction converter, the positive pole is connected to the overhead line and the negative pole is connected to the rail. The pantograph on the locomotive is in contact with the overhead line, and the current is introduced into the car, and then enters the traction motor through the air automatic switch, controller, and resistance box to drive the motor to run. The electric motor drives the wheels to rotate through the transmission device, thereby pulling the train to travel. The current from the motor flows back to the converter through the track.
2. The working process of the battery-type electric locomotive. The direct current provided by the battery enters the motor through the flameproof plug, the controller, and the resistance box to drive the motor to run. The electric motor drives the wheels to rotate through the transmission device, thereby pulling the train to travel.
 
TOP 10 rules of Daily maintenance  of electric locomotive:
1. Check whether the lever and pin of the brake system are in good condition, whether they move flexibly, and fill in oil.
2. Check the brake shoe wear and replace the brake shoe with excessive wear; check the gap between the brake shoe and the wheel tread, and adjust it in time if it exceeds the specified limit; remove the mud on the adjusting brake shoe screw and brake shoe.
3. Check whether the wheel is cracked, whether the wheel tyre is loose, and the degree of wear of the wheel tread.
4. Check the transmission gear and gear cover for looseness and wear.
5. Check the frame spring for cracks and failures, remove the dirt on the spring, and inject oil between the hinge point and the equalizing beam.
6. Check whether the bolt pins and cotter pins of the car body and each part are complete, whether the bolts are tight, and whether the pin shaft and the cotter pin are well connected. Especially the device that hangs the traction motor should be checked carefully.
7. Check the connecting device for damage and wear exceeding the limit.
8. Check whether all parts of the sand removal system are complete and well connected, whether the sand pipe is blocked, whether it is aligned with the center of the track, and whether the distance from the wheel and the track meets the requirements.
9. Check whether the spring pressure of the electrical receiver is sufficient, whether the sliding plate is broken and worn out of limit, whether the frames, bolts and pins are complete and fully expanded.
10. Check whether the resistor is broken, whether the wiring terminals are loose, and clean the dust.
Mine electric locomotives are mainly used for long-distance transportation in underground roadways and ground. It is equivalent to the electric locomotive in railway transportation. It hauls a train consisting of a mine car or a man-carriage to walk on the track. The electric locomotive that completes the transportation of coal, gangue, materials, equipment, and personnel is called a mining electric locomotive.
