How can we safely drive the mining electric locomotive?

2021-07-02
Only by mastering the correct method of driving a mininig electric locomotive can the electric locomotive driver achieve the goal of driving the electric locomotive safely. Therefore, the following is a summary of the safe driving of the machine, I hope you can follow the correct operating procedures, so that you will be more comfortable when driving the equipment.
1. Electric locomotive drivers must pass the training and examination to obtain a certificate and hold a certificate to work.
2. It is not allowed to leave the work post without authorization, and it is strictly forbidden to leave the driver's cab while the locomotive is running or before it has stopped. When leaving the post temporarily, you must cut off the power of the motor, remove the controller handle for safekeeping, tighten the brakes, but do not turn off the lights. Where there is a slope, wooden wedges are also used to wedge the wheels.
3. The successor driver must learn more about the train operation, signal and line conditions from the shift driver (the shift driver must take the initiative to explain clearly), and carefully inspect the electric locomotive.
4. Connect the relevant electric (gas) circuits in order, start the corresponding electric (gas) meters and instruments, and light up the lights and red tail lights.
5. After receiving the start signal, move the controller reversing handle to the corresponding position ("forward" or "backward"). First buzzer to warn, then release the hand brake, and turn the controller handle in a clockwise direction to gradually increase the vehicle speed to the running speed. Drivers are strictly prohibited from driving outside the vehicle. It is strictly prohibited to drive without releasing the brakes.
6. During operation, the controller operating handle is only allowed to park for a long time in the specified "normal operating position".
7. When adjusting the vehicle speed, the controller operating handle should be reciprocated to "normal operation" and "zero position" to stay, try to avoid using the hand brake to control the vehicle speed.
8. During normal operation, the locomotive must be at the front end of the train, but it is not subject to this restriction when shunting and handling accidents. If you use a locomotive to push the vehicle, you must follow the instructions of the follower, and the speed should be slow. When arranging the trains, pay attention to the safety of the personnel who insert the pin chain at all times. 9. During driving, the driver must always pay attention to the lookout. Drive according to signal instructions. Pay attention to observing personnel, vehicles, turnout points, obstacles on the line, etc., and operate carefully.
10. The speed of the train: it should not exceed 4m/s when transporting people; it should not exceed 2m/s when transporting explosive materials or large materials; it should not exceed 1.5m/s when shunting at the depot.
11. Approaching air doors, roadway openings, chamber exits, bends, turnouts and places with large slopes or loud noises, before double-track trains meet, and when there are people in front of them, motor vehicles or obstacles in the line of sight, All must slow down and sound the alarm.
12. When it is necessary to decelerate, the control handle should be gradually turned counterclockwise until it returns to the zero position. The operating handle should return to zero quickly when the speed is sharply decelerated. If the vehicle speed is still fast, a hand brake can be applied appropriately, and sanding can be supplemented as appropriate. It is forbidden to pull down the pantograph to slow down; it is forbidden to brake when the operating handle has not returned to the zero position. When it is necessary to stop, the train should be driven slowly to the predetermined location in accordance with the above-mentioned sequence of operations. Then stop the locomotive with the handbrake. It is strictly forbidden to use the "reverse current" or "knock down" method to brake the locomotive.
13. When an emergency stop is needed, you must be calm, quickly turn the controller operating handle to the zero position, use the electric and hand brakes together, and sprinkle sand continuously and evenly.
14. When braking, do not apply brakes too quickly or too sharply, otherwise brake shoes are likely to appear
Locking with the wheel causes the wheel to slide on the track. When this phenomenon occurs, quickly release the brake to relieve it and then reapply the brake.
15. After braking, the reversing handle of the controller must be turned to the zero position in time.
16. After stopping due to a breakdown on the way, the driver must report to the dispatcher on duty. In the section with blocking signal, protection should be set up before and after the locomotive (train), and then the locomotive (train), etc. can be inspected, but it is not allowed to open the electrical equipment of the battery electric locomotive for inspection and repair underground.

The above is the method of safely driving the mine electric locomotive. Only by doing this can the safety of the driver be guaranteed and the machine can work for a long time.
