The modified rear trolley electric locomotive can realize the two functions of air brake and air horn, without changing or destroying the structure of the original electric locomotive, and not affecting all the functions of the original electric locomotive. The effect is obvious after the transformation, and the braking capacity is increased by more than 30%. Stable and reliable performance. The braking distance can be shortened from about 40 meters in the past to about 8 meters. After installing a pneumatic brake system, the pedal operation control is adopted, and the original mechanical manual brake is reserved for emergency use. The entire design meets safety, reliability, advancement, and meets the relevant national safety requirements and technical specifications for metal mines.
