On June 14, 2019, our company HUNAN YUTONG MINING EQUIPMENT CO., sent a batch of electric locomotive air brake devices to the mine along with the our  engineer for the electric locomotive air brake transformation.

 

The number of modified electric locomotives is 30. During the modification process, our engineers and mine engineer actively communicated and discussed the use and installation matters, and after the modification, provided technical training for the mine operators.
The modification has been completed, and Successfully accepted by the mining!

 

The modified rear trolley electric locomotive can realize the two functions of air brake and air horn, without changing or destroying the structure of the original electric locomotive, and not affecting all the functions of the original electric locomotive. The effect is obvious after the transformation, and the braking capacity is increased by more than 30%. Stable and reliable performance. The braking distance can be shortened from about 40 meters in the past to about 8 meters. After installing a pneumatic brake system, the pedal operation control is adopted, and the original mechanical manual brake is reserved for emergency use. The entire design meets safety, reliability, advancement, and meets the relevant national safety requirements and technical specifications for metal mines.
