We are dispatching a set of refurbished mining electric locomotives that have undergone a comprehensive upgrade. Originally designed as 7 ton trolley wire electric locomotives with resistor speed control, these units have been transformed into 8 ton battery electric locomotives with state-of-the-art variable frequency drive (VFD) systems. The addition of air brakes further enhances their braking capabilities. This conversion not only increases the tonnage but also improves the speed regulation and safety features, offering our customers a more robust and adaptable solution for their underground mining needs.
