Inspection and maintenance of mining electric locomotive

2021-06-28
How should the daily inspection and maintenance of the mining electric locomotive be carried out? Please follow the 9 rules!
1. Motor wheel pair. When checking the electric locomotive every day, knock the tyre to determine its tightness and the integrity of the tyre itself, and check whether the wheel is cracked. Regularly check the wear of the wheel's rolling circle. When the wheel tread has a dent with a depth greater than 3mm and a length greater than 5mm, and the wear is greater than 5mm, the wheel should be removed for trimming. When the wheel circle is worn to 25mm, a new wheel must be replaced. When dressing a wheel, the diameter deviation of the wheel rolling circle on the same wheel set must not be greater than 2mm.

2. Bearing and bearing box. The bearing box must generate heat during operation. When the temperature rise exceeds 60°C, first check the gap between the hub and the bearing seat (not less than 2mm) and the degree of contamination of the lubricating oil. The inner and outer rings of the bearing are not allowed to be too loose and irregular in rotation. Check the surfaces of the inner and outer rings and the rollers, and replace them with new bearings if they are found to be worn out or damaged. The bearing box cover should be opened once every 3 months to clean and inspect the bearings and replace the lubricating oil.

3. Sand adding system. There should be no leakage of sand from the sand box before the handle is moved. When operating the handle, it should be able to open and close the sand valve at the same time. When the front and rear sand boxes cannot be opened and closed at the same time, the length of the pull rod and spring should be adjusted. The distance between the sand pipe of the sand remover and the wheel and the track must meet the requirements, and the scattered sand must fall on the track. Remove the dirt on the tie rods every shift, and apply lubricating oil on the pins.

4. Braking system. Before each shift, the mud and dirt of the adjusting brake shoe screw must be removed, the brake shoe wear should be checked, and the brake shoe gap should be adjusted. The brake shoes on the left and right sides must be braked at the same time, and all the brake shoes are tightly braked on the wheel tyres. Check whether the lever and pin are flexible, and lubricate them.

5. Reducer. Regularly add lubricating oil to the gearbox, and replace the lubricating oil every 6 months. Check the gear wear and adjust the screws and gaskets to ensure the normal meshing of the gears.

6. Spring bracket. Check the spring pressure of the electric appliance and the degree of wear of the sliding plate. All frames, bolts and pins should be complete and complete. Regularly remove the soil from the spring leaf and apply oil to the pin shaft regularly.

7. Controller. Check the contacts of the cleaning controller, and polish the burned contacts. The wiring terminals, resistor strips, and crimping wires of the resistors are tight and must not be loosened.

8. Traction motors for mining. Always keep the exterior of the motor clean. The working surface of the commutator should be smooth and free of burn marks. When the unevenness of the commutator wear reaches 0.2mm, the working surface of the commutator should be polished along the rotation direction of the motor by using No. 00 fine emery cloth. When the unevenness of the commutator wear reaches 0.5mm, the armature should be pulled out for turning. Check whether the armature bearing is overheated. If it is overheated, check further for oil shortage or bearing damage. All fasteners and terminals should be firm and reliable without loosening. The motor protective cover should be complete, and the inspection window cover should be well sealed.

 9. Automatic switch. Use a blower or clean cotton yarn to remove the dirt and dust inside the switch and keep all parts clean. Fastening parts such as screws and nuts should be firm and reliable, and the contacts should not be loose. If the contact is burnt, it can be repaired with a fine file. The contact surface should be maintained at more than 80%, and when the degree of wear reaches 50%, the contact should be replaced with a new one. The armature device, tension spring, and tension rod should be undamaged, the compression spring on the moving contact should not be broken, and the tripping device should be flexible and reliable in action, without jamming or failure. The insulation resistance of live conductor parts to the shell should be greater than 0.5MΩ. Check whether the arc extinguishing cover is damaged and whether the bolts are loose. The inner wall of the metal casing is insulated, and the insulating board should be intact.
